Atama Furniture was proud to collaborate closely with Nest Interiors and the team at Aegis to furnish the newest residence within the Aegis portfolio.

Located within the Murdoch Health and Knowledge Precinct, the purpose-built facility delivers exceptional care across permanent, transitional and respite services in a safe, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed environment.

Atama supplied furniture throughout the Aged Care facility with a focus on comfort, accessibility, durability, and ease of use—key considerations within aged care settings. The furniture selection was designed to create warm, residential-style spaces that feel inviting and familiar, while also meeting the practical needs of everyday care.

A strong emphasis was placed on creating environments that promote dignity, comfort, and quality of life. Soft seating, functional dining settings, and versatile occasional furniture were selected to enhance both the resident experience and the operational needs of the facility, contributing to a cohesive and contemporary environment that feels welcoming without compromising on performance.

The result is a considered furniture solution that complements the vision for Aegis Murdoch—supporting high-quality aged care through spaces that are functional, comfortable, and designed with people at the centre.
